On Wednesday 4-Feb-2026, a tribute was held at the club premises for Irene May Wood who served in the 2nd Signals Battalion in WW2. In March 2026, the tribute document was handed over to the Fremantle Army Museum of WA Foundation for review since Irene May Wood came from Collie, a small town in WA.

At the time, a request was made for a portable Morse Code Practice Oscillator so the Foundation volunteers could take a Morse Code kit to Army Museum of WA offsite promotions and activities. This was considered a way for visitors at these events to associate the sound of Morse Code to those who served in the past in the Signals Corps.

The kit was subsequently constructed, and a small Bunnings toolbox was provided to protect the device while travelling to the offsite events.
