Listen in, or better yet call into the net!

With COVID hanging around like a bad smell, some members are still feeling a bit reluctant to come to the clubhouse. Probably with good reason, as a couple of members have come down with what some refer to as “the spicy cough”. Thankfully, there have been no serious health problems resulting, but even so, there’s no point in tempting fate.

So that everyone at the club can still maintain some proper socially distanced contact, the club 2m net is back, though with a difference: it’s a monthly net, so everyone can save up their news and stories and have something to tell, even if it’s only to express happiness at the return of the net (HI!)

Frequency is the club’s 2m repeater, 146.875MHz, with a -600kHz offset.

Net controller will be Michael VK2MDP. The net takes place on the first Wednesday of the month, starting from 8pm.

If you’re out of range, you can also listen in on the club repeater audio streaming service.

The next net is on 7 December 2022. Reminders on the club email system have been updated accordingly.

Of course, the 2m repeater is available for use 24/7, so feel free to give a call anytime; everyone else, please listen out for such calls!
