Our classes are much less serious than this!

At the 13-Feb-2019 business meeting there was a unanimous vote of thanks to the education team that conducted licence assessments over many years.  Our thanks go to:

  • Ted VK2WL
  • Mark VK2MP
  • Chris VK2YY
  • Robert VK2DH
  • Karen (CCARC)
  • Tim VK2AAA
  • Simon VK2TW

This group of unsung heroes has been responsible for ensuring that our hobby stays strong by introducing new people into the joys of amateur radio.

We are hoping that the current uncertainty about how education and assessments will be conducted following the change of provider from WIA to the Australian Maritime College (Uni Tas) will be clarified quickly so that we can get back to business. Rumour has it that existing assessors will be used by the new provider.

A club member offered to shout each member of the education team a beer (not withstanding Rod’s antics!!).
