Our Valve radio expert, Roger VK2GHB, visited the Historical Radio Society meeting last Saturday & bought them out! We now have a great kit of parts for refurbishing the STC Model 549.

Magic eye is missing but we’ll probably sort that out.

Power cable has been updated to the 70’s but we may go another few decades forward.
Audio & High Tension to the speaker needs some TLC
Most of the caps look like they have re-entered the atmosphere. Once we work out the design values they’ll be renewed.
We are looking forward to a royal command performance visit to MWRS from Roger VK2GHB to wave his mits over the valves & give us the good oil on them
