I know I spoke with quite a few people afterwards, some of whom
wanted to make contact for advice on further activities. None of them
has yet contacted me – so please do!

Another project I’m working on is a network analyser (scalar/network/
spectrum) using an AD9959 quad DDS board, which is soon to arrive.
This group is starting to discuss architecture on a Google groups mailing
list at <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/vk2specan>. Also in the
group is David Beard, who has a 25-year old patent and long experience
in DDS and this kind of RF design, and he’s keen to extend the scope
of the project (and is a great resource too). It seems we may be able to
extend useful performance beyond 1GHz without too much trouble.
