Greetings, Earthbound Operators,

It is time to extract ourselves from our dark, electromagnetic caves and simulate human interaction on actual green grass. The planetary alignment dictates a morning deployment on Friday 3 July 2026, at 0800 hours.

Behold the strategic masterplan for Ku-ring-gai Bicentennial Park:

  • The Antennas: Polish them until they can blind passing satellite pilots.
  • The Seating: Bring your seat and your chair. Double-stack them for ultimate dominance.
  • The Power: Whisper to the ether with QRP, or blast QRO to cook the nearby foliage.
  • The Beans: Delicious, hot bean-juice (coffee) is available nearby to lubricate your human gears.
  • The Equine: Park your horse on Lofberg Road. Complimentary H2O is available for the beasts.
  • The Coordinates: The park is alarmingly vast. Meet at the vortex of Lofberg Road and Yanko Road.
  • The Vital Component: Bring a radio. Otherwise, you are just a person sitting on  chairs whispering at trees.

A few were absent today, so only 3 of us today. Chris vk2ymw, Richard vk2arh and Colin vk2jcc. A SFI of 203 today meant that signals were like taking on a FM 2 metre repeater. All signals were 5×9 from Port Macquarie Henry vk2zhe and the Central Coast Peter vk2PX. The weather was warm and no rain or wind. The  morning activity ended with a hot coffee and a great seat in the sun.
