The Society dedicates the fifth Wednesday of the month (when a month has one) to special themed Show ‘n’ Tell nights. Members and visitors vote with a gold coin for their favourite displays. Roger Hynes VK2GHB took away the prize for his regulated high voltage power supply, which followed him across the world all the way from Vancouver…

Philip Leong VK2APL won the “best yarn” award for his attempt to persuade the judges that his entry was in fact better than Roger’s HI!

As a side note, there was a suggestion afterwards that Roger and his power supply might have made an appearance in the 1974 Mel Brooks movie, Young Frankenstein. Draw your own conclusions!
