Professor Helen Pask spoke about her work and in particular, use of lasers in her research. Professor Pask, in addition to her research work, maintains a full academic life and lectures at Macquarie University. Andrew Howie is a member of our club and a good mate of Jeff Keating. Andrew can’t attend on Wednesday night so Jeff introduced Helen told us a bit more about this extraordinary couple.

- 16-Feb – Michael: Excellent lecture last night from Professor Pask. Very interesting topic and it was good to see that Macquarie Uni are trying to commercialise scientific developments. It was also good to see such a good turnout from club members and visitors.
