Preparations are underway at the club this week, in preparation for this weekend’s Jamboree on the Air 2018. We expect hordes of Scouts and Guides to descend on the club rooms to enjoy a range of activities, including making radio contacts with other Scouting groups, playing Battleships on the Air, learning Morse code, and setting up a portable radio station.

In addition, there is an electronics construction project based on a programmable microcontroller chip. The photo below shows the “production line” to program the chips, and package the kits ready for assembly this weekend.
