After some correspondence about whether to BBQ or not BBQ, the annual xmas BBQ was held a week earlier this year (Sun 15-Dec) as many members got rostered on Father Christmas duties on the usual last Sunday prior to Christmas. We’ve heard that some kids may be getting iambic keys for Christmas! The BBQ was well attended and as it was BYOE, we haven’t heard of any catering complaints.
The weather and temperature remained acceptable for the outdoor event, and no fire ban to spoil the cooking!
