A recent discussion of the Nation Library of Australia’s wonderful Trove website raised the question of whether any treasure had been found therein.
On behalf of the club, a response was duly sent:
I don’t know about Peter Riley, but I have found plenty of treasure in Trove. Until 2009, I thought that my favourite radio club (the Manly-Warringah Radio Society) began in 1934. Thanks to Trove, I traced it inception as the Manly and District Radio [Club] to 26 February 1923. Time to start planning the centennial celebrations!
…and made print in a slightly abbreviated form. Any publicity, so they say, is good publicity!
