Another great show and tell night up at the club!

Russel was the overall winner of the Tecsun DE13 Emergency AM/FM/SW Solar Powered Radio. [Thanks again Garry and Tecsun Radio Australia for the donation.]  Shaun VK2XPP judged the “Hurricane” as telling the best yarn of the evening with a few others being highly commended.  I personally liked John’s story of Queen Elizabeth’s crystal set that she took about with her in her land rover.  From the look of the age of it she must have inherited it from her grandfather.

A lot of fun that helped raise funds for future projects.

Yves announced that the next show and tell night (Wed 28-Aug-2018) will be “Power Supplies” so dust off your aging flux capacitors and get them charged up for the night.

The Hurricane has promised he will bring along “something special”.  I suspect it will be the little bottle of deutronium that he obtained from Jonathan Harris when he was coaching him in his role as Dr Smith.  You will never know unless you attend!
