Another year of Jota finally wrapped up!
This year we had approximately 240 scouts and guides come through our club, even so we handled it with ease.
The scouts and guides had a fantastic time and we managed to hand out a heap of pamphlets. We also had some official visitors from guides and scouts, they were interested in how we were running our JOTA.
Thanks to katrina and Mark for looking after us for the 2 days, to keep us fed and watered and to their 2 boys Zac and Josh for their help.
Also thanks to: Richard vk2sky, Richard vk2nra, Rob vk2mz, Brad, Tim vk2bt, Rod vk2zzm for doing jota tv, Dom jna, Bianca vk2fbnk, Greg vk2xe, Simon vk2yu, Sean vk2tht, Des vk2tgj, Mal vk2tmf, Jeff vk2mzz.
sorry if we missed anyone.

At Sydney Northern Region JOTA (@ MWRS), whilst I supervised a Battleship station, young Zac (Mark & Katrina’s young son) asked,
“Can I have a go?”
“No Zac, its just for the scouts & we are busy with them”.
Later we found ourselves with only 5 scouting groups going around our 6 “stations” & so needed a fill-in battleships team.
“Zac, we’re on!”
Zac’s choice: I did the Radio & Zac did the “scribing”, including all phonetics & planning shots & marking their hits & misses flawlessly – needless to say we whopped the other team 😉
Zac is less than half the age of the scouts he was up against
