I want to say thanks to all for help with the cubs last night.
Good turnout from members including Greg VK2XE, Mal VK2TMF, Jeff VK2MZZ,
Richard VK2NRA, Rob VK2MZ, Des VK2TGJ, Robert VK2DH & 18 eager Terrey
Hills Cub Scouts.

We were able to talk with Noel VK2HU on 40m at Hervey Bay QLD but local
noise in TH was 4 & he was 4-7 in SS, so we decided to go local. Noel,
you had some RF noise (clipping?) early but is somewhat resolved after
going to 20m & back to 40m.

MarkP VK2MP helped on 40m with Phonetics practise but at one stage I
thought he wasn’t going to make it in time & so I called for help here
on the reflector whilst heading to my car to do a *real local* contact –
Ben VK2BEN, thanks for popping up on freq but by then Mark had connected
with us on air. Appreciation for both of you.
